The Ring
Was presented with yet another ring today, but this one i will treasure most. All other rings misplaced, cast aside, vanished; forever that is lost. This ring is the ring which bodes most well; which though slightly loose, it fits the best. The ring symbolises much, a princess' crown, a binding tender impartiality. Who else treats me with such loyal affection, unwavering in taking hit upon hit of hurltling abuse; who else waits upon my every need, carries my shopping, relieves me of burdensome books while making one's own load so much greater? Who else brings such joy and happiness, puts a smile upon my very face? Who else can i never stay mad at, can never stop talking to? The bearer of the ring is great, as great as one could be. And it is tonight i swear, i'd always remember thee.

Well, if you want me to write so tenderly and poetically about thee, then give me a ring, dammit.

I have decided! Unlike my unbred, uncultured and unstylish friends, who have proclaimed they will marry whoever proposes with a Tiffany and Co's engagement ring, or rock as i'd like to call it, I, on the other hand, will give myself most willingly to whoever proposes with a Harry Winston and an Edison Chen poster. Full sized. Both the rock and the poster i mean. And one cannot be without the other. Not that i'm saying of course, that i wouldn't accept one without the other. Tiffany and Co's for Chumps. Bvlgari kicks it up a notch but Harry's the real deal.
To you who gave me the Edison Chen stuff, i am most most most grateful! Bordering on love, might i add. Bordering. But it strikes me as a pity that one so gorgeously magnificent and so wondrously handsome as my beloved, has such a terrible voice. Darling Eddy, i am afraid to say, does not sing very well. At all. Ah, but at least he still has his looks..aah, at least he still has his looks..
