Well, its so back to primary school. Can you believe, my mom grounded me? During my holidays no less! I mean, ain't that quite a bloody feat? Apparently i can't go out till i finish my damn essay. Bloody F-ing great. Cornell has this damn essay all incoming Freshies need to write - Franz Kafka's "The Trial". And its only to be of 1 - 2 pages long.. i don't see what's the big fuss! I could write it in 10 minutes flat dammit.. ugh.. but that mother of mine has to build up so much hype about it...now, if only i could just remember where i put it so i could read it and do the damn essay...

Anyway, luckily my parents have no idea what "to be grounded" means. My mom managed to entertain me for 20-odd minutes yesterday. The berating began when she was driving me to the MRT station and continued as she called me on my cell and "entertained" me somemore from Buona Vista to City Hall, whereupon she put down the phone. Then she called again using our home phone line and continued to sing in my ear for one more stop to Dohby Ghaut. All in all, a very fruitful trip. Some fellow was so afraid of me that he actually vacated his seat for me. Now, that, i must say, was an extremely nice and wise gesture! He was still standing when i got off. Back to the point, so she told me i was grounded till i finish the essay. But today, she tells me i'm always going out, i'm going out tonight, tomorrow, and she rattles my plans off for next week, so when am i gonna do my essay and maths for the maths placement? See! So i can still go out!

What utter rubbish!!

Oh, and this hair product Lucidol.L, which Beeboo and i picked out yesterday really does seem to work! (Hooray) My hair is more manageable already.
