Have i said how much i love Cornell? How much i love university life? I wanna say i miss home, i miss my friends, that im homesick, that i want my own bed... but i cant say it and mean it a hundred percent. Though i do think of everyone sometimes, im truly happy here. I cant explain it. Everything feels right. No doubt there're a million assignments to finish, a ka-zillion readings to do..it all seems fair and squared out in the end, and how you can always find people to bitch to, to confide in, to help whirl the problems away. People who come over and share take-outs with you at like 2 in the morning, who do laundry with u at 3 a.m. or just HAGs who r cute and funny and lovely. People are so friendly, so cool, so hospitable. And sooo soo fun. The Americans really are madcappy and warm people. Ive already been invited to go spend Thanksgiving in Jersey with a friend and her family - i can't wait! Notwithstanding the parties(heeell yeah) and all the craziness here, its all really good.

Im kinda surprised that im not homesick or that i dont think of Singapore that often. Like someone was saying, that you'd definitely be homesick and that u'd need to "touch base" with like pple from your own country or culture. I do that with other Asians - american born and raised or the HK, koreans. Somehow not Singaporeans. I miss my popo but she calls often. My parents call like almost everyday and i talk to most of my friends in Singapore either on msn, through email or on the phone. Life's pretty hectic here, filled with excitement and chillin'. JC was definitely fun but here's fun in a different way. All the things we do, its nice how i dont feel out of place. Ironically i feel kinda out of place with the Singaporean crowd. Im truly not being snotty or anti-jingonistic here, but with some of the Singaporeans i clam up and i dont know what to do or say around them. With the Americans, the Hongkong peeps, the Koreans, the Japanese, the Australians, the Puerto Ricans, etc its all good. Everyone's cool. Dude, they're amazing. Of course i still like some of the Singaporeans!! And i learnt a new word today.. "Mo-Fo"..lol for those of u who dont know, ask me. haha.. Its used lk in "Dude, its so hot im sweating like a Mo-Fo!!" heehee..sooo my new catch phrase. Dude, yeahyeah, and now Mo-fo! Brian was counting and he claims i said "yeahyeah" lk 10 times in 4 min or something lk tt. Ass. lol

I don't know. This is how i feel. For now. And for now, i love Cornell. Im so glad i made this choice. And that i didnt stay in Singapore. Or go to England!

p.s. uhh and i have 2 assignments for tmw i havent started reading yet! For one i have to read like 2 books for a quiz tmw - i.e. lk 400 over pages each?! n then ive an essay i need to hand in tmw. Im so boned. Lol. Guess who's coming over to "keep me company" later. Haha..he's cute. :)
