Isn't it funny that they say guys like women who have confidence?

I was having a weird, albeit rather comical, conversation with this guy just today:

Him: I love that you're so full of self-confidence!
Me: Why thank you, i do love me so.
Him: Don't a lot of guys get scared off by it though?
Me: Of what? By me?!
Him: Not you per se but by your overwhelming confidence. You know all that macho stuff, like guys like to be the caretaker and take care of the girl. You seem to have this whole "whatever you can do i know i can do better without even trying" thing going. Dont get me wrong, i think its awesome.
Me: YOU THINK?!
